“Safe & Affordable DC is launching a mid-six-figure, multi-week effort across cable, streaming, digital, and mail to educate voters about how Kenyan McDuffie has sold us out to utility companies, shady developers, and even members of his own family,” said Jos Williams, Chair of SADC and former president of the Metro Washington Council, AFL-CIO. “He voted to allow Pepco to double-charge customers; give tax breaks to shady developers; and pushed no-bid gambling contracts to his former staff and a company tied to his family."

"DC voters want a Mayor who will stand up for working families and run a government that works for all of us -- not just the rich and well-connected,” Williams continued. “That candidate is Janeese Lewis George, who has the integrity, record, and values to lead a DC government that works for everyone."
